Study on Partial Discharge of Solid - sealed Poles Based on Electrostatic Field Analysis

It is of great significance to study the design and optimization of the insulation structure of the solid pillar based on the electrostatic field analysis. In this paper, the electric field distribution of 12kv embedded poles is obtained by electrostatic field analysis, and the electric field distribution of the electric field is extracted, such as grounding shield net and air field near the bolt.
The dielectric strength of the insulating medium indicates that the electric field strength in the air field near the bolt exceeds the dielectric strength of the air causing the local discharge to be excessive. Then, based on the theory of electrostatic field combined insulation, a method of reducing the field strength of the air field near the bolt is proposed by adding a flange shield between the fixed hole stud fixing hole and the soft silicone rubber without changing the mold. The maximum field strength of the air region near the bolt is reduced from 5.8 MV / m to 0.32 MV / m by the electrostatic field analysis.

The feasibility of this optimization method is verified. The results of partial discharge test show that the optimized extinguishing voltage is increased from 6.5 kV to 14.7 kV, and it is verified that the electrostatic field analysis method can be used to study the partial discharge of the solid pillar. At the same time, the optimization scheme is also used in engineering application feasibility.
